
Union’s Enzo Constable sweeps conference awards
Kingsport, Tenn. - Enzo Constable of Union Commonwealth University's men's swim team dominated the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Championships, earning multiple top honors.
Constable was named both AAC Men's Swimmer of the Year and AAC Men's Freshman of the Year, capping off a stellar debut season. Throughout the year, he was a three-time AAC Men's Swimmer of the Week and shattered multiple program and conference records.
He also etched his name in Bulldog history as Union's first swimmer to compete at the prestigious Toyota U.S. Open.
The AAC also recently unveiled its All-Academic Team and Champions of Character Team honorees, recognizing student-athletes for their excellence in the classroom and in the pool.
Dmitrii Bulakh, David Muñiz Espin, Zsombi Sipaki, Ceci Gimenez Martinez, Erin Pease, Emma Phillips, Izzy Proctor, and Lise Puissant earned spots on the All-Academic Team.
Meanwhile, Malik Biad and Isadora Silveira E Silva were honored for their outstanding sportsmanship and leadership with selections to the Champions of Character Team.
