Bio

  • Armando ‘Trey’ Cima enters his first season as a member of the Bulldog Men’s Soccer coaching staff.
  • Trey, a native of Corbin, Ky, enters his college coaching career after a four-year playing career at the University of the Cumberlands.
  •  Prior to university, Trey graduated from Corbin High School, where he had an outstanding playing career, leading his team to 3 consecutive state tournament appearances, and winning Player of the Year awards in 3 consecutive seasons and All-State 1st team awards in 2 consecutive years, becoming one of the most successful players to come out of Southeastern Kentucky.
  •  Trey played club soccer for varying clubs both in Kentucky and Tennessee throughout his youth, but his primary club was Kentucky Rush, where he has also coached U14-U19 boys in both the Tri-County area as well as in Somerset for several years
  •  Trey graduated from the University of the Cumberlands in 2023 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Exercise and Sport Science and Coaching. Trey holds a USSF D Coaching License, and is currently working towards his USSF C License. Trey is fluent in Spanish and is currently working towards learning Portuguese.
  • Trey is currently working towards his Masters Degree in Human Resource Management at Union.
