
Harrison claims second AAC Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week honors
Barbourville, Ky. - Union Commonwealth University's Daniel Harrison has been named the Appalachian Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week for the second time this season.
Harrison recorded five saves against Milligan and added two more along with a shutout victory against Reinhardt, bringing his season total to six shutouts. He currently leads the AAC in goals-against average (0.61) and ranks third in save percentage (.781).
The Bulldogs went 1-0-1 on the week, securing a win over Reinhardt and scoring five goals while conceding just one.
With a final regular-season record of 12-1-2 (11-0-1 AAC), the Bulldogs clinched the AAC Regular Season Championship. No. 1 seeded Union will host the No. 8 seeded Johnson on Friday, Nov. 1, at 7:00 p.m. in the AAC Tournament.
