Barbourville, Ky. - The Union Commonwealth University men's soccer team competed against CIU on Saturday. The Bulldogs defeated the Rams 2-1.

Ivan Macias Rodriguez and Isa Bramble scored for the Bulldogs, with Bramble's goal being the game-winner. Bramble now has 10 goals, ranking third in the AAC for both goals and points (24). 

Biel Vallverdu added an assist, his seventh of the season, tying him for first in the conference. 

UCU had 13 shots, six on target, while the Rams took 10 with three on goal. Daniel Harrison recorded two saves in the matchup

The Bulldogs have now won 11 straight and remain unbeaten in AAC play with two conference games left.

 

The Bulldogs advanced to 11-1-1 (9-0 AAC) on the season, while CIU fell to 7-5-2 (6-3-1 AAC). Up next for Union is a home conference match against No. 11 Milligan on Wednesday, Oct. 23, at 7:00 p.m
