Dayton, Tenn. - The Union Commonwealth University men's soccer team defeated Bryan 3-0 on Wednesday. The Bulldogs claimed their first regular-season victory at Bryan in over 18 years.
Isa Bramble, Callum Edwards, and Alex Benitez each scored in the second half, while Benitez scored his first goal of the season. Bramble brought his total to seven goals, while Edwards reached 10, keeping both in the AAC's top five scorers.
Bramble, Biel Vallverdu, and Callum Longworth each had an assist. UCU had 18 shots, 14 on goal, while Bryan had seven shots, five on goal.
Daniel Harrison made a season-high five saves and added another shutout. Union extends their win streak to eight, remaining undefeated in the AAC.
The Bulldogs advanced to 8-1-1 (7-0 AAC) on the season, while Bryan fell to 6-3-1 (6-1-1 AAC). Up next for Union is a home conference match against Pikeville on Saturday, Oct. 12, at 7:00 p.m.
