Barbourville, Ky. – The Union Commonwealth University men's soccer team picked up a 5-0 victory over Midway on Wednesday night.
Charlie Markland scored three goals, while Isa Bramble tallied two. Tyler Wheatcroft registered two assists, while Callum Edwards, Oriol Gasquez Perez, and Markland each recorded one.
UCU totaled 25 shots, while Midway tallied four. UCU had 13 shots on goal, while Midway had one.
The Bulldogs advanced to 1-1-1 on the season, while Midway fell to 1-2. Up next for UCU is a home conference match on Wednesday, Sept. 11, at 3:00 p.m. It will be Union's first conference match of the season.
