The Bulldogs fall short in the AAC semifinals

Barbourville, Ky. – The No. 2 seeded Union College men's soccer team hosted No. 3 Tennessee Wesleyan in the semifinals of the AAC Tournament on Tuesday night.

Tennessee Wesleyan jumped out to a 2-0 lead as it scored two goals within the opening five minutes. The TWU lead would be extended later in the half as Tennessee Wesleyan led 4-0 at halftime.

Union's Asuka Kaneda scored a goal in the 54th minute off an assist by Patrick Taylor, but Tennessee Wesleyan won the game 5-1. Following tonight's matchup, Union is 15-2-2 this season. Tennessee Wesleyan is 11-3-5.

The AAC finals will feature No. 1 Milligan and No. 3 Tennessee Wesleyan on Saturday, Nov. 11. Union now awaits the release of the NAIA Tournament Bracket.
