Barbourville, Ky. – No. 2 seeded Union defeated No. 7 seeded Bryan 2-1 in the quarterfinals of the AAC Tournament on Friday night.

In the fourth minute Bryan's Owen Morlaes scored the first goal of the game off an assist by Jaephil Seo. Then in the 29th minute, Union's Callum Edwards scored the second goal of the game to tie the score at 1-1.

In the 76th minute, Patrick Taylor scored the winning goal for the bulldogs. Both of Union's goals were assisted by Jan Brzozowski.

Edwards has now scored 23 goals this season. He is one goal away from tying the school record for single season goals. Edwards still ranks first in the conference for goals scored this season.

The Bulldogs are now 15-1-2 (11-1-2 AAC) this season, while Bryan is 8-8-2 (7-5-2 AAC). Union will host No. 3 Tennessee Wesleyan at Williamson stadium on Tuesday.
