No. 21 Union picks up a 4-0 victory against Truett McConnell

Barbourville, Ky. – The Union College men's soccer team remains undefeated this season as the Bulldogs picked up a 4-0 home win against Truett McConnell on Saturday.

Towards the end of the opening half, Union's William Fox scored the game's first goal. The goal was assisted by Jan Brzozowski. The Bulldogs led 1-0 at halftime.

Nearly two minutes into the second half, the Bulldogs' Asuka Kaneda extended Union's lead with a goal via an assist by Callum Edwards.

Towards the midway point of the second half, Edwards recorded his 12th goal of the season to give Union a 3-0 lead. The matchup's final goal was scored by Biel Vallverdu off an assist by Paulo Carvalheiro Daniel.

Union tallied 11 shots on goal, while Truett McConnell registered zero. The Bulldogs are now 8-0 (4-0 AAC) this season, while Truett McConnell is 4-2-1 (2-2-1 AAC). Up next for the Bulldogs is a home conference game against Kentucky Christian on Wednesday, Sept. 27, at 7:00 p.m.
