Bluefield, Va. – The Union college men's soccer team remains undefeated on the season as the Bulldogs picked up a road victory against Bluefield on Wednesday.
The matchup was scoreless at halftime, but Union's Callum Edwards scored two unassisted goals in the second half en route to a win for the Orange and Black.
The Bulldogs registered six shots on goal, while Bluefield tallied five. Union goalie Ethan Whyte recorded five saves to keep the Rams scoreless. The final score was 2-0 in favor of the Bulldogs.
Union is now 5-0 (1-0 AAC) this season, while the Bluefield Rams are 0-4 (0-2 AAC). Up next for the Bulldogs is a home conference game against St. Andrews on Saturday, Sept. 16, at 7:00 p.m.
