Union men’s golf recap from Alice Lloyd Last Shot

 

Danville, Ky. - The Union Commonwealth University men's golf team competed in the Alice Lloyd Last Shot Tournament on Saturday and Sunday.

 

Day One:

For each round of the tournament, the par was set at 72. Kedric Chaney led the way by tying for 16th place. He shot 80 to go eight over par.

Tyler Sumner tied for 16th as he went 11 over par by shooting 83. Jack Brodie tied for 24th place. He shot 84 to go 12 over par.

Zach Young and Bryson Grabowski each tied for 30th. They were each 21 over par. Timothy Messer shot 100, while placing at 32nd. Kohen Doney placed at 34th, while shooting 134.

  

Day Two:

Chaney finished the tourney tied for 13th by once again shooting 80. He finished the tournament 16 over par.

Sumner tied for 20th by going eight over par in the second round. Sumner finished the tourney 19 over par.

As he did on the first day, Brodie shot 84 to go 12 over par. He placed 24th overall with a finish of 24 over par.

Grabowski placed 29th, Young placed 30th, and Messer placed 31st. Grabowski finished the tournament with a total of 187, while Young tallied 189 and Messer recorded 191. Doney placed 33rd, while totaling 246.

  

Up next for the Bulldogs is the AAC Spring Tournament beginning on Monday, April 22.
