Union men’s bowling recap from the Hoosier Classic

Indianapolis, Ind. - The Union College men's bowling team competed in the Hoosier Classic this weekend. The classic is an invite-only competition, and this is the first year the Bulldogs were invited.

NCAA Division I, Division II, Division III, and NAIA schools all compete in the Hoosier Classic. The bulldogs placed 60th out of 78 with a total of 7933 pins.

Jeffrey Carter led the way placing 121st. He bowled in six games, and had a game-high of 226 with a total of 1177 pins. Carter registered a tournament average of 196.17.

Rieley Ulanday also bowled in six games, and placed 164th. Ulanday had a game-high of 203 with a total of 1116 pins and a tournament average of 186. 

Placing 211st, Dylan Barkdoll bowled in five games. He recorded a game-high of 231. Barkdoll had a total of 1035 pins and an average of 207.

David Painter and Hunter Cain both bowled in four games. Painter placed 340th with a game-high of 210 and 732 total pins for a tournament average of 183. Cain followed by placing 353rd. Cain recorded a game-high of 190. He had a total of 669 pins and an average of 167.25.

Placing 392nd, Charles Goguen bowled in three games. He recorded a game-high of 211 pins; a total of 560 pins; and a tournament average of 186.67. 

Zack Lipson placed 448th in two games, while having a game-high of 178; a total of 353 pins; and an average of 176.5.
