Union men's bowling weekend recap

Louisville, Ky. - The Union College men's bowling team took part in two tournaments over the weekend.

The Bulldogs competed at the MSC Lynne Jordan Memorial in Louisville on Saturday. The Bulldogs secured 17th place out of 20 teams with a total pin count of 6480.

On Sunday, they competed at the MSC Thomas Burris Memorial. The Bulldogs secured 17th place out of 21 teams with a total pin count of 6753.

Dylan Barkdoll secured the highest individual placement of the day at 38th. Over the course of five games, he accumulated a total score of 977 for a tournament average of 195.4.

Following closely, Charles Goguen claimed the 57th spot with a total score of 890 for an average of 178 across five games.

Hunter Cain, Rieley Ulanday, and Jeffery Carter secured placements at 75th, 76th, and 77th place respectively.

In their four games, Cain achieved a total score of 682 with a tournament average of 170.5. Ulanday garnered a total score of 670 for an average of 167.5, while Carter totaled at 664 with a tournament average of 166.

Through two games, David Painter totaled a score of 315. In a single game, Zach Lipson bowled a score of 153.

 

MSC Thomas Burris Memorial

Painter led the Bulldogs with the highest finish as he secured the 37th spot. Painter's performance resulted in a total score of 959 and a tournament average of 191.8.

Following closely, Goguen claimed 41st place. He engaged in five games, and accumulated a total score of 951 for a tournament average of 190.2.

In a four-game stint, Carter had a total score of 773 for a tournament average of 193.3 to secure 89th place. Ulanday placed 89th as he totaled a score of 680 for an average of 170.

Lipson and Cain finished side-by-side as they claimed the 106th and 107th places respectively. Lipson showcased a total score of 517 and a tournament average of 172.3, while Cain totaled 516 for a 172 average. Barkdoll participated in one game, and bowled a 167.
