Union men’s bowling recap from the Orange and Black Tournaments

Miamisburg, Ohio – The Union College men's bowling team competed in the Orange and Black Tournaments on Oct. 21-22. The Bulldogs placed fifth out of eight in the opening tourney, and 10th out of 12 in the second tournament.

 

Orange and Black Tournament 1:

The opening tournament featured solely baker games. Union placed fifth out of eight with a score of 6,319. Pikeville took first place with a score of 6,640, while Midway placed second with 6,633 and Belmont Abbey was third with 6,628.

 

Orange and Black Tournament 2:

In individual play, Jeffrey Carter placed at No. 13 with an average score of 200.6 through all five games. Hunter Cain recorded an average of 177.8 through eight games, while David Painter registered an average of 168. Rieley Ulanday averaged 176.0 in four games. Dylan Barkdoll played three games, and averaged 169.7 per game.

The Bulldogs placed 10th with a score of 6,147. Pikeville won the tourney with a score of 6,982, while Northwestern Ohio was second with 6,874 and Ohio State was third with 6,689.

 

Up next for Union is the MSC Greater Nashville Open, which will be held on Saturday, Oct. 28.
