Men’s bowling recap from the Columbia 300 Western Shootout

Indianapolis, Ind. – The Union College men's bowling team competed in the Columbia 300 Western Shootout on Oct. 14-15.

Union's David Painter placed 54th with an average score of 201 through six games. His high score of the tournament came in the fifth game with a score of 224. He bowled at least 178 in each game.

Dylan Barkdoll placed at 59 with an average score of 199.5 through six games. Barkdoll's high score occurred in the second game when he registered a score of 236. He registered a score of at least 200 in four of his six games.

Rieley Ulanday averaged 173.4 through five games, which featured a high score of 212 in the fourth game. Charles Goguen averaged 212.8 in four games, which included a score of 258 with a high score of 268.

Jeffrey Carter registered a high score of 209 in the third game, and finished with an average of 180.5 in four games. Hunter Cain recorded a high score of 269 in the sixth game, and finished with an average of 201.7 in three games. Zack Lipson bowled two games with a high score of 155.

Purdue placed first with an overall score of 9,895, while Saint Xavier placed second with 9,827 and Calumet College of St. Joseph placed third with 9,772. Union placed 21st out of 32 with 8,909.
