Cain places sixth overall; Bulldogs finish fourth in Bulldog Bash

Louisville, Ky. – The Union College men's bowling team opened its 2023-24 season this past weekend with the Bulldog Bash. The Bulldogs hosted the event in Louisville, Ky., and placed fourth out of eight teams.

Individually, Union's Hunter Cain placed sixth with a score of 771 through four games. Cain bowled at least 191 in three games with a high of 225 in the fourth game.

Charles Goguen registered a score of 761, which placed 11th. David Painter recorded a score of 232 in the second game, and finished with a score of 679 for a 22nd placed finish.

Zach Lipson placed 28th with a score of 634 that featured a single game high of 173. Jeffrey Carter tallied a score of 542 in three games played, which included an impressive single game high of 215. Carter placed 34th.

Up next for the Bulldogs is the Columbia 300 Western Shootout, which will be held on Oct. 14-15 in Indianapolis, Ind.
