Barbourville, Ky. – The Union Commonwealth University men's basketball team hosted Johnson on Saturday. The matchup featured Senior Day for the Bulldogs. Prior to the game, UCU recognized senior guard Sam Conley.
Conley led Union in scoring with 16 points, while going 7-of-11 from the floor. Dallas Rufus tallied 13 points, while Kenny Garth accounted for nine.
Kaleb McLendon totaled eight points. Jabari Covington and Jeremy Wilson each scored six points. Allister Dixon, Micah Engle, and Jeremiah Stroman each registered four points.
Ben Underwood and Drew Rhodes also scored for UCU. Underwood tallied a game-leading 10 rebounds, while accounting for a team-leading two steals. Rufus and Stroman each tallied three assists, which led Union in that category.
The Bulldogs are now 12-14 (8-12 AAC) this season, while Johnson is 18-9 (14-6 AAC). Union will be the No. 10 seed in the 2025 WinWon AAC Men's Basketball Tournament.
