The Bulldogs win 116-101 at Reinhardt

Waleska, Ga. – The Union Commonwealth University men's basketball team won 116-101 at Reinhardt on Saturday. It was an impressive performance for the Bulldogs.

Today's performance marks the most points scored by the Bulldogs in one game since scoring 117 points against KCU on Dec. 31, 2018.

UCU was 39-of-65 (60.0%) from the floor, 10-of-23 (43.5%) from 3-PT range, and 28-of-31 (90.3%) from the free-throw line.

Union's Ben Underwood tallied 25 points, which was tied for the most by any player in the matchup. Underwood was 9-of-9 from the floor, 4-of-4 from 3-PT range, and 3-of-3 at the free-throw line.

Sam Conley tallied 24 points, six rebounds, and five assists. Conley's six rebounds were tied for the most by any player in the game. Jeremiah Stroman registered 20 points, while Allister Dixon and Dallas Rufus each tallied 10.

Jabari Covington and Kaleb McLendon each recorded six points, while Kenton Wright registered five points and five assists.

Micah Engle, Brian Gilmore Jr., Drew Rhodes, and Luca Stubel also scored for Union. Covington and Underwood each tallied three steals, which was tied for the most by any player in the matchup.

The Bulldogs are now 10-12 (6-10 AAC) this season, while Reinhardt is 10-13 (7-9 AAC). Up next for UCU is a road conference game against Pikeville on Wednesday, Feb. 12, at 7:30 p.m.
