Barbourville, Ky. – The Union Commonwealth University men's basketball team hosted Montreat on Saturday. The Bulldogs won 87-71. UCU won the rebounding battle 49-40, while recording 21 assists.
Jeremiah Stroman led UCU in scoring with 23 points, while recording a game-leading 14 rebounds. Stroman's 14 rebounds are the most by a Bulldog this season.
Dallas Rufus tallied 18 points off the bench, while Sam Conley registered 12 and Kenton Wright accounted for 11.
Rufus registered a game-leading six assists. His six assists are tied with three other performances for the most by a Bulldog this season.
Kaleb McLendon tallied nine points, while Jabari Covington totaled six. Ben Underwood, Allister Dixon, Micah Engle, and Luca Stubel also scored for UCU.
