Barbourville, Ky. – The Union Commonwealth University men's basketball team picked up a 72-68 OT win over Columbia on Wednesday.
Jeremiah Stroman tallied 18 points, which was tied for the most by player in the matchup. Stroman tallied a team-leading four assists, while Stroman and Sam Conley each tallied a game-leading four steals.
Allister Dixon recorded 13 points to go with a team-leading seven rebounds. Ben Underwood totaled eight points, while Jabari Covington registered seven and Conley accounted for six.
Dallas Rufus, Micah Engle, Luca Stubel, Kaleb McLendon, Brian Gilmore Jr., and Kenton Wright also scored for Union. UCU registered 30 bench points.
The Bulldogs are now 7-12 (3-10 AAC) this season, while Columbia is 11-11 (4-10 AAC). Up next for UCU is a home conference game against Montreat on Saturday, Feb. 1, at 4:00 p.m.
