Union falls to Milligan, Stroman records 25 points and eight rebounds

Barbourville, Ky. – The Union Commonwealth University men's basketball team hosted Milligan on Saturday. UCU fell short 74-67.

Union's Jeremiah Stroman led all players with 25 points, while registering eight rebounds. Stroman's 25 points is tied for third most by a Bulldog this season.

Sam Conley recorded a double-double with 13 points and 12 rebounds. Conley's 12 rebounds are the most by a Bulldog in one game this season. Ben Underwood accounted for 11 points, while Allister Dixon contributed 10.

Micah Engle, Dallas Rufus, and Kaleb McLendon also scored for UCU. Rufus tallied four steals, which was tied for the most by any player in the contest.

Luca Stubel and Jabari Covington each tallied three assists, which was tied for the most in the matchup by any player.

Union is now 6-12 (2-10 AAC) this season, while Milligan is 13-8 (9-5 AAC). Up next for UCU is a home game against Columbia on Wednesday, Jan. 29, at 7:45 p.m.
