UCU’s Ben Underwood named WinWon AAC MBB Defensive Player of the Week

Barbourville, Ky. – Union Commonwealth University's Ben Underwood has been named the WinWon Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Men's Basketball Defensive Player of the Week.

Through three games on the week, Underwood averaged 9.7 PPG, 6.3 RPG, 2.3 SPG, and 0.7 BPG. The 6-foot-8 forward registered three steals in two of UCU's three games on the week. It marks the first time this season that Underwood has earned this award.
