The Bulldogs win 98-74 over St. Andrews

Laurinburg, N.C. – With Saturday's 98-74 victory at St. Andrews, the Union College men's basketball team has won nine games in a row. Three of the past four victories have been by at least 23 points.

The Bulldogs led 45-42 at halftime. Union took control in the second half as the Bulldogs held St. Andrews to 33.3% shooting from the floor, while the Bulldogs tallied 53 points. The Orange and Black finished the game 12-of-28 from 3-point range, while St. Andrews was just 3-of-17.

Union's Terrin Hamilton tallied 25 points, which was tied for the most by all scorers. Markelo Sullivan and Will Bailey each contributed 15 points, while combining to record 13 rebounds.

Markelle Turner totaled 12 points and seven rebounds. Turner and Sullivan were tied for the most rebounds recorded by a Bulldog in the matchup.

Deonte Douglas registered nine points, while Anton Mozga tallied eight. Sam Conley, Jahloni Mitchell, Kaleb McLendon, Sean Reece, and Jay Falls also scored for Union.

The Bulldogs are now 20-6 (19-3 AAC) this season, while St. Andrews is 5-19 (3-19 AAC). Up next for Union is a road conference game against Bryan on Wednesday, Feb. 21, at 7:30 p.m.
