Hamilton scores career-high 39 points as Union defeats Johnson 92-82

Barbourville, Ky. – The Union College men's basketball team picked up a 92-82 victory on Wednesday against Johnson. The Bulldogs won the rebounding battle 49-27, while scoring 52 points in the paint.

Union's Terrin Hamilton scored a career-high 39 points to go along with 14 rebounds, five blocks, and two steals. Hamilton's 39 points is the most points scored by a Bulldog since teammate Markelle Turner scored 39 against Truett McConnell on Jan. 30, 2021.

Hamilton's 15 made field goals is the most by a Bulldog this season; his five blocks are the most by a Bulldog this season; his 14 rebounds is tied for second-most by a Bulldog this season.

Markelo Sullivan also tallied a double-double as he recorded 15 points and 13 rebounds. His 13 rebounds are tied for fourth-most by a Bulldog this season.

Deonte Douglas was Union's second-leading scorer with 18 points. Jay Falls scored eight points to go along with three blocks. Fall's three blocks are tied for the second-most by a Bulldog this season. Anton Mozga, Sam Conley, and Will Bailey combined to score 12 points.

The Bulldogs are now 15-6 (14-3 AAC) this season, while Johnson is 12-8 (11-6 AAC). Up next for Union is a road conference game on Saturday, Feb. 3, at 4:00 p.m.
