Coach McKibben, better known as Coach Kibb, is entering his first season at Union College. He comes to Union from the University of the Cumberlands where he served as a GA for a season and a full-time assistant in year two.

He worked with the linebackers, special teams, and defense in those two seasons. Cumberlands’ tallied 68 sacks and 25 interceptions in that two-year stretch.

McKibben played for the Patriots prior to joining the staff. In 36 games played, he registered 120 tackles, 45 unassisted tackles, and 12 tackles for loss. He was named a member of the All-Commonwealth team in his final season as a player.

In reference to joining Coach Luttrell’s staff here at Union, McKibben said: "It's great when you have a coach who wants to pour into you, and the young men that’s a part of his program.”
