Bio

Coach Boston Bryant enters his first season as the defensive coordinator and linebackers coach at Union College. He comes to Union from University of the Cumberlands, where he spent his last six seasons as the defensive line coach. Bryant is also the Academic/Eligibility Coordinator for the Bulldogs. 

While at Cumberlands, Bryant was a part of many great defenses, including two playoff teams in 2018 and 2019. He coached nine all-conference players in his six years at Cumberlands; including Kumi Sarpong Jr., who earned all-american honors en route to becoming the school’s all-time sack leader.

Bryant worked with the defensive line from 2018-2022, while coaching the LBs as a graduate assistant in 2017.

He is is a 2017 graduate of Wofford College in Spartanburg, SC., where he earned a degree in History with a minor in Government. While there, he was a four-year player for Wofford and a two-year captain.

Bryant is an Eastern Kentucky native. He played football locally at Whitley County High School.

He is married to his wife Justice and the couple has two kids, Oakland and London.
