UCU’s Griffin Fleming named AAC Special Teams Player of the Week

Barbourville, Ky. – Union Commonwealth University's Griffin Fleming has been named the Appalachian Athletic Conference's (AAC) Special Teams Player of the Week.

Fleming averaged 45.0 yards per punt in UCU's game against Bluefield with eight punts for 360 yards. He put two punts inside the 20, while recording one touchback. Fleming's longest punt went for 59 yards.

It's the first AAC POTW honor for the former Southern Miss Golden Eagle. Up next for the Bulldogs is a road conference game against St. Andrews on Saturday, Oct. 12, at 12:00 p.m.
