Union’s Ernesto Moreno named to AAC All-Tournament Team

 Barbourville, Ky. – The Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) has released its All-Tournament Team for the 2024 AAC Baseball Tournament.

Union's Ernesto Moreno was one of 12 players that earned a spot on the All-Tournament Team. Moreno collected five hits, five RBIs, two runs scored, and one triple.

In the tourney, No. 10 Union defeated No. 7 Johnson 8-6 in the Bulldogs' opening game. Union then fell short to No. 2 Tennessee Wesleyan 3-1.

Union stayed alive in the tournament by defeating No. 3 Pikeville 15-3 in seven innings. The Bulldogs were eliminated after falling to No. 6 Montreat 9-8.
