Union archery lands seven on the 2024 All-American Team

Statesboro, Ga. - USA Archery recently announced its 2024 All-American Team honorees. Union Commonwealth University had seven archers receive this honor.

The top ten archers in each category at the recent USA Outdoor National Championships received this honor. Each archer must compete in both indoor and outdoor nationals to be eligible.

"All seven of my archers that received the award of being on the All-American team truly deserved it because of all the hard work and hours they spent both on the archery range and in the classroom," said head coach Robert Dunaway.

"To be on the All-American team, an archer must have participated in the indoor nationals and outdoor target nationals and also score high in qualifying scores and academics. I'm so proud of everyone on my team and can't wait to watch their growth in archery, but more than that, their growth as adults."

For men's compound, Daniel Carlton and Sergio Edgar Martinez Cruz each earned All-American honors.

Rachel Flack and Ashley Coffing both earned All-American honors for women's compound.

In men's barebow, Kyle Coffey and Jonathan Stanley received All-American honors.

Evan Miller was the lone Bulldog to receive an All-American honor for men's fixed pins.
