Coffing gets first-place finish as Union archery places fourth in the MSC Outdoor Championship

Williamsburg, Ky. - On Friday and Saturday, the Union Commonwealth University archery team competed in the MSC Outdoor Archery Conference Championship. 

Men's Compound:

Sergio Edgar Martinez Cruz, Daniel Carlton, and Jacob Newby placed third in the men's compound team.

Women's Compound:

In the overall individual, Ashley Coffing placed first. Rachel Flack placed second in the overall individual. Flack, Coffing, and Ruthie Masengale placed third in the women's compound team.

Mixed Compound:

Cruz and Flack placed second overall.

Men's Barebow:

In the overall individual, Kyle Coffey placed second.

 

The Bulldogs collected one gold medal, four silver, and one bronze for a total of 48 points. This put Union in fourth place.

Union scored five in 3D, four in indoor, and five in outdoor for a total of 14 for their total team score. Overall, the Bulldogs placed fourth.
