
Union softball announces 2025 summer softball camp schedule
Barbourville, Ky. - Union Commonwealth University softball is excited to announce its 2025 summer camp lineup, offering a range of opportunities for young athletes to improve their skills and connect with college-level coaches and players. Whether you're just starting out or preparing for varsity competition, there's something for everyone.
About the Coach
Kiley Goff is an accomplished former collegiate softball player and current Head Softball Coach with extensive experience at the NCAA Division I level. She began her collegiate career at Purdue University, making an immediate impact as a versatile player, starting 43 of 44 games as a freshman. She later transferred to the University of Maryland, where she served as team captain, earned Big Ten Co-Player of the Week honors, and led the conference in runners caught stealing in 2023. Goff concluded her playing career at the University of Louisville, starting all 52 games as catcher and leading the ACC in hit-by-pitches while earning multiple academic and athletic honors. Throughout her career, she demonstrated exceptional defensive skills, consistent offensive contributions, and strong leadership. After graduation, she transitioned into coaching, beginning as an Assistant Coach at Indiana State, where she works with hitters and infielders, further showcasing her dedication to the sport and player development.
Camp & Clinic Dates
Youth Camps (Grades K–6th)

Cost: $90 each or $80 total if attending both youth camps
These camps are designed for younger players to learn the fundamentals of softball in a fun and engaging environment.
Infield/Outfield Clinic (Grades 7th–12th)

June 23, 10 AM – 12 PM
Cost: $30
Focuses on advanced defensive techniques including positioning, footwork, glove work, and throwing mechanics.
Hitting Clinic (Grades 7th–12th)

June 23, 12:30 PM – 2:30 PM
Cost: $30
Combo Deal: Attend both the Infield/Outfield Clinic and the Hitting Clinic for only $45
This clinic offers a deep dive into hitting mechanics, approach, and drills tailored to increase power and consistency at the plate.
Pitching & Catching Clinics (Grades 7th–12th)

July 28, 10 AM – 12 PM
Cost: $30 per clinic
Specialized sessions focusing on developing pitching and catching fundamentals, strategy, and communication between battery teammates.
