Union’s Raquel Kessler named AAC Attacker of the Week
Barbourville, Ky. – The Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) has announced that Union Commonwealth University's Raquel Kessler has been named the AAC Women's Volleyball Attacker of the Week.
Through two games last week, Kessler tallied 38 kills. The Jackson Center, Ohio, native also had 19 digs and 12 total blocks.
In Union's five-set win over Tennessee Wesleyan, Kessler registered an impressive 28 kills. She was three kills shy of tying UCU's school record. It's the second time this season that Kessler has been named the AAC's Attacker of the Week.
