The Bulldogs fall at Reinhardt

Waleska, Ga. – The Union Commonwealth University volleyball team played at Reinhardt on Friday night. The Bulldogs fell short 3-0 (25-18, 25-20, 25-18).

Jasmine Porter led Union in kills with eight, while Emily Shumaker and Raquel Kessler each tallied five. Maddy McGaughey led UCU in assists with 13, while Yanelis Turbi recorded seven.

Nicole Almestica registered a team-leading 12 digs, while Kessler totaled 11. McGaughey, Shumaker, and Lara Gomes De Castro combined to record 12 digs.

The Bulldogs are now 8-16 (6-8 AAC) this season, while Reinhardt is 14-4 (11-0 AAC). Up next for Union is a road conference game against Truett McConnell on Saturday, Oct. 19, at 1:00 p.m.
