Union women’s indoor track and field recap from the Centre Indoor Showcase

Danville, Ky. - The Union Commonwealth University women's indoor track and field team placed 14th at the Centre Indoor Showcase on Saturday.

Erin Pease competed in the 60-meter hurdles, taking fifth with a time of 9.44. In the one-mile run, Abby Mabe finished seventh in 6:06.50, followed by Jasmine Clouse in 11th with a time of 6:31.68.

Sofia PetzMelanie Partin, and Bella Townsend competed in the 400-meter dash. In the 1000-meter run, Mabe placed 11th with a time of 3:33.05, and Petz also competed. Partin, Kaylee Hall, and Townsend ran in the 200-meter dash.

Malene Obermayer placed sixth in the long jump with a mark of 4.72m, while Pease also competed. In the high jump, Obermayer finished eighth with a mark of 1.35m, with Pease competing as well. Both athletes also participated in the shot put.
