Gainesville, Ga. – The Union Commonwealth University women's basketball team won 76-58 at Brenau on Saturday afternoon.
The Bulldogs led by as many as 24 points. UCU has won three of its past four games dating back to an 80-39 victory against CIU on Saturday, Jan. 4.
Union's Emrey Glover led all scorers with 21 points, while going 8-of-11 from the floor. McKenzi Himes contributed 18 points, while Madison Brady tallied 16 points in 12 minutes of playing time.
Ja'Naia Moran recorded nine points, while Gracie Jervis added six and Rachel Smith accounted for five. Claire Belcher also scored for UCU.
Jervis registered a game-leading four steals. Himes and Belcher each tallied six rebounds, which was tied for the most by any Bulldog in the matchup.
The Bulldogs are now 5-12 (4-7 AAC) this season, while Brenau is 4-12 (3-8 AAC). Up next for UCU is a home conference game against Bryan on Wednesday, Jan. 22, at 5:30 p.m.
