Barbourville, Ky. – The Union Commonwealth University women's basketball team hosted No. 7 Cumberlands on Monday. The Bulldogs fell short 88-45.
Madison Brady tallied 18 points and eight rebounds, which led UCU in each category. She registered a game-leading three blocks in the matchup, which is tied with Gracie Jervis and McKenzi Himes for the most by a Bulldog this season.
Himes recorded 11 points, while Emrey Glover and Rachel Smith each totaled five. Claire Belcher, Ja'Naia Moran, and Mylaiysha Norman also scored for UCU.
The Bulldogs are now 2-12 this season, while Cumberlands is 14-1. Up next for Union is a home conference game against CIU on Saturday, Jan. 4, at 2:00 p.m.
