Union's Callum Edwards named AAC Offensive Player of the Week
Barbourville, Ky. – Union Commonwealth University's Callum Edwards has been named the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Offensive Player of the Week.
Edwards recorded three goals and six points across two games, going two-for-two on penalty kicks and had one game-winning goal. He is now tied with Isa Bramble and Charlie Markland for the team lead in goals, each with four.
UCU went 2-0 on the week with wins over Johnson and Truett McConnell. They scored seven goals while allowing two.
The Bulldogs are 5-1-1 (4-0 AAC) this season. Next for UCU is an away conference match at Kentucky Christian on Wednesday, Sept. 25, at 7:30 p.m.
