Cleveland, Ga. - The Union Commonwealth University men's soccer team picked up a 3-1 victory over Truett McConnell on Saturday.
Callum Edwards netted a season-high two goals in the match, while Zak Hardman contributed one more goal.
Alex Benitez and Isa Bramble each recorded an assist, with Bramble now tied with Tyler Wheatcroft for the team lead in assists, both having three.
UCU took 20 shots, with eight on goal, while Truett McConnell had 12 shots, two of which were on goal.
The Bulldogs advanced to 5-1-1 (4-0 AAC) on the season, while Truett McConnell fell to 5-1-2 (3-1-1 AAC). Up next for Union is an away conference match against Kentucky Christian on Wednesday, Sept. 25, at 7:30 p.m.
