Union men’s golf Alice Lloyd College Invitational recap

Richmond, Ky. - The Union Commonwealth University men's golf team recently competed in the Alice Lloyd College Invitational, finishing ninth overall.

The Bulldogs posted a score of 57-over in the first round before improving to 34-over in the second.

Luke Townhill led the team, tying for 25th out of 55 golfers. He shot 13-over in the first round but bounced back with an impressive 1-over performance in round two.

Gabe Raymundo followed closely behind, carding a 4-over in the first round and 14-over in the second. Bryce Messer recorded a 29-over in round one before improving to 19-over in round two.

Kaleb Ellis and Jonah Carden joined the action in the second round, with Ellis shooting 15-over and Carden finishing at 25-over.

Next for the Bulldogs is the Northeast Tennessee Shootout on Monday, March 31.
