
Union men's bowling MSC Championships recap
Bowling Green, Ky. - The Union Commonwealth University's men's bowling team recently competed in the Mid-South Conference Championships, taking part in singles, doubles, and team matches.
Singles
Hunter Cain led the Bulldogs with a total of 623 pins across three games, highlighted by a high score of 222. Close behind was Charles Goguen, who knocked down 621 pins and posted the highest single-game score of the day with 223.
In three games, Rieley Ulanday had a high game of 222 pins and a total series of 601. Close behind was David Painter, who posted a 204-pin high game and a total of 588.
Zach Lipson recorded a series total of 550 pins, highlighted by a 212-pin high game, while Anthony Sousis finished with a 168-pin high game and an overall total of 462.
Doubles
Goguen and Lipson posted a combined doubles score of 1,171, with Goguen rolling a game-high 223 and Lipson notching a high score of 212.
Ulanday and Cain led the way with a combined total of 1,224, each recording a game-high of 222 pins. Painter and Sousis finished with a doubles total of 1,050 pins. Painter's best game saw him reach 204, while Sousis recorded a high of 168.
Championship Rounds
