Union men’s bowling weekend recap

Louisville, Ky. - The Union Commonwealth University men's bowling team competed in the MSC Lynne Jordan Memorial and the MSC Thomas Burris Memorial this weekend.


MSC Lynne Jordan Memorial 

The Bulldogs finished 16th overall with 3,633 pins, a baker total of 1,451, and an overall score of 5,083. Rieley Ulanday placed 29th individually, recording 824 pins with a tournament average of 206. His best game was a 253 out of four games.

Hunter Cain finished 52nd with a tournament average of 194.5 and a total of 778 pins, including a game-high of 223. Zach Lipson followed with 723 pins, a tournament average of 180.3, and a game-high of 218 over four games.

David Painter averaged 177.3 pins with a total of 709 pins. Anthony Sousis scored 321 pins across two games, averaging 160.5. Charles Goguen also played two games, totaling 277 pins with an average of 138.5.

 

MSC Thomas Burris Memorial 

The Bulldogs finished 14th overall with a total score of 4,891, including a Baker total of 1,459 and a team total of 3,432. Cain placed 58th, competing in four games. He totaled 755 pins, averaging 188.8 per game, with a high score of 203.

Painter finished close behind with a tournament average of 178.5 over four games, totaling 714 pins, including a high of 196. Goguen had a high of 202 pins in one game, with a tournament average of 170.3 and a total of 681 pins over four games.

Ulanday totaled 658 pins in four games, with an average of 164.5. Lipson had 624 pins and an average of 156.
