The Bulldogs come up short against Reinhardt

Barbourville, Ky. – The Union Commonwealth University men's basketball team hosted Reinhardt on Saturday. The Bulldogs led at the half, but fell short 83-71.

UCU's Sam Conley led all scorers with 27 points, while tying for the most rebounds by any player in the matchup with nine. He was 11-of-15 from the floor.

Conley's 27 points and 11 made field goals in today's matchup are each tied for the most by any Bulldog this season. His two blocks are also tied for the most by any Bulldog this season along with three other performances.

Jeremiah Stroman tallied nine points and a game-leading six assists. Stroman's six assists in today's matchup is tied with two other performances for the most by a Bulldog this season. Ben Underwood and Kenny Garth each registered eight points, while Allister Dixon totaled seven points.

Luca Stubel and Jabari Covington each tallied four points, while Dallas Rufus and Micah Engle each recorded two. UCU won the rebounding battle 40-29, while scoring 50 points in the paint compared to 30 for Reinhardt.

The Bulldogs are now 5-5 (2-4 AAC) this season, while Reinhardt is 6-5 (4-1 AAC). Up next for UCU is a road conference game against Truett McConnell on Tuesday, Dec. 10, at 7:30 p.m.
