UCU wins 81-67 against Indiana East

Kingsport, Tenn. – The Union Commonwealth University men's basketball team played against Indiana East on Sunday. It was the second of two games for the Bulldogs in The Show, which is being hosted in Kingsport, Tenn.

Union began the game with a 20-2 run. UCU's Ben Underwood led the Bulldogs in scoring with 22 points, while registering five rebounds and two blocks.

Jeremiah Stroman contributed 14 points to go with a game-leading nine rebounds and a game-leading five assists. Stroman and Underwood each registered two blocks, which tied for the most by any player in the matchup.

Sam Conley recorded 12 points, three assists, and a game-leading three steals. Kenny Garth recorded six points, while Brian Gilmore Jr. scored five. Luca Stubel and Kenton Wright each tallied four points, while Allister Dixon scored two points.

The Bulldogs are now 5-3 this season, while Indiana East is 4-3. Up next for UCU is a road conference game against Milligan on Wednesday, Dec. 4, at 7:30 p.m.
