Major: Actuarial Science

Luke Gallagher is an Actuarial Science major with a passion for numbers—and an even bigger passion for soccer. His favorite thing about Union is being part of the soccer team, where he’s found a sense of purpose and community on and off the field.

When he’s not studying or playing, Luke enjoys skiing, his second-best sport, and dreams of becoming a professional soccer player, turning his love for the game into a full-time career. His favorite subject in high school was science, and he looks up to Ronaldo as his soccer icon.

His favorite drink is milk, and he keeps things interesting on road trips with Bombay mix. When it’s time to eat, he’s all about Indian curry. Luke is most active on Instagram and has a unique pet—a tortoise.

As a teammate, he sees himself as competitive and a natural leader, always striving to push the team forward. He hopes to be remembered for one thing above all: scoring goals.
