Union’s Liliana Drukerova selected as AAC Women’s Tennis POTW for third time this season

Barbourville, Ky. – Union Commonwealth University's Liliana Drukerova has been named the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Women's Tennis Player of the Week. Drukerova was 2-0 in singles play, while also being 2-0 in doubles competition.

In No. 13 Union's match against No. 6 Tennessee Wesleyan, Drukerova defeated Josefa Fernandez 6-3, 7-6. In doubles play, Drukerova and Lucy Spice defeated Mercedes Chasset and Julia Richardet 6-1.

Against Campbellsville, Drukerova defeated Ariadna Perez 6-4, 6-4. Drukerova and Spice defeated Miru Nonaka and Oriana Espinoza 6-2.

Drukerova has received three of the AAC's five POTW awards this season, which includes the past two.
