Union’s Dorottya Józsa named AAC Women’s Swimmer of the Week

Barbourville, Ky. - Union Commonwealth University's Dorottya Józsa has been named the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Women's Swimmer of the Week, her first honor of the season.

Józsa had a stellar meet against Midway last week, earning four first-place finishes.

She won the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:59.01 and the 100-yard freestyle in 55.06. She also claimed first in the 200-yard individual medley at 2:12.50.

In the 200-yard medley relay, Józsa teamed up with Lise Puissant, Emma Phillips, and Isadora Silveira e Silva to secure another win with a time of 1:51.84.
