
Union has 30 spring sport student-athletes named Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athletes
Barbourville, Ky. – Recently, the 2025 Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athletes were announced for spring sports. Union Commonwealth University had 30 student-athletes qualify for this honor.
According to the NAIA's official release: "To qualify as a Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athlete, students must maintain a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, appear on the eligibility certificate for their sport, and have attended their institution for at least one full year. This year, the list features an impressive number of student-athletes who have met these rigorous standards."

Baseball: Austin West, Carter Shinavier, Christian McCollough, Dylan Hetzler, Ernesto Moreno, Garomme Hanna, Jackson Clark, Nathan McCabe, and Nicholas Seelman
Men's Tennis: Diego Bsereni, Henning Ebersohn, Sebastian Stipanov, and Sergio Fernandez
Men's Track & Field: Connor Partin, Gianni Loska, Jackson Crume, Lucas Gibson, and Preston Frost
Softball: Kaley Harris, Kaliana Pangallo, Kerry Dixon, Kinsley Redmon, Ryleigh McLeskey, Ryleigh Petrey, and Shaylin Lewis
